This policy explains what cookies are, which ones bffi.ro uses, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function correctly, remember your preferences, and, where you consent, help us understand how visitors use the site and measure the performance of our marketing.
2. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie consent choice). These cannot be switched off and do not require consent, as they do not process personal data for marketing or analytics purposes.
- Analytics (Google Analytics / GA4): help us understand how visitors use bffi.ro, so we can improve the site. These are only loaded after you actively consent.
- Marketing (Meta Pixel): used to measure and improve the performance of our social media advertising. These are only loaded after you actively consent.
3. Consent comes first
Analytics and marketing cookies, including the underlying scripts such as Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel, do not load when you first arrive on bffi.ro. They only load after you actively choose "Accept All," or enable the relevant category individually via "Manage Preferences," in the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
If you choose "Reject Non-Essential," only strictly necessary cookies are used, and no analytics or marketing scripts are loaded.
4. How to withdraw consent or clear cookies
You can change your cookie preferences on bffi.ro at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the site footer, which reopens the consent banner.
You can also clear or block cookies directly through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Note that blocking all cookies through your browser may affect the functionality of this and other websites.
